Our sincere thanks to Mr Fischer for the warm welcome and the introductory words on the organization and development of the "Berufsförderungswerk Leipzig", the venue of the 19th Ordinary AUKOM Member's Meeting. Our thanks also go to Mr. Pahl whose contribution affected the good success of the event.
One of the most important agenda items was the new election of the AUKOM Executive Board.
AUKOM's Chairman of the Board
Since 2003, Dr. Franz Wäldele was Chairman of the Board of AUKOM e.V..
He is one of the leading figures who shaped the association and contributed to its steadily growing success. Those who know him well know that the decision not to stand for re-election as Chairman of the Board this year was not easy for him. AUKOM e.V. is a matter of the heart for him.
Therefore, we are happy that he will remain with us as a member of the Executive Board and will be responsible for the task area "Verbandsarbeit" (association work).
Even if letting go of the association's chairmanship is difficult, it is a little easier if one hands over his duties to a valued companion. Prof. Dr. Lunze has been responsible at AUKOM for Form & Position Tolerances for many years and was a member of the extended board. All participants of the general meeting stand behind him and have elected him as Chairman of the Board. We wish him good luck in his new position.
The AUKOM Board
To date, the Management Board has consisted of one Chairman of the Board, two Deputy Chairmen and one Extended Board of Directors.
What is new is that there is now only "one" board of directors. It consists of the Chairman, his two deputies, the representatives for special tasks and the quality representative.
