Learning target: After completing this unit, you will know the standardized temperature and the effects of inexact or incorrect part or measuring machine temperature. You will know how to clean a part correctly and which clamping systems are available for fixing the part on the work holding fixture and are reasonable in each case. You will be aware of the measurement uncertainty effects that may be encountered when preparing the measurement and those that result from the environment. You will observe the accident prevention regulations when starting the measuring machine.
