Learning target: You understand the
structure of a (tactile measuring) 3-D coordinate measuring machine (CMM). You
know its individual components and the functioning of the length measuring
system of the coordinate measuring machine. You know how to distinguish
triggering from measuring stylus systems and know about the functioning of both
stylus systems. You know the additional components rotary table, stylus system
changer, articulating stylus system and scanning device.
